Simple:  I started this blog for an online class. I meant to take it down, but I just can’t abandon it. And I like to keep up with what my classmates are doing, too.

Come to find out, having a test blog — where nobody knows your name — is a great place to try out new blogging skills. I can test out themes. See which posts draw the most traffic. (Hint: mentioning a celebrity’s name in context helps draw readers.) Figure out how to post images (translation: pictures), their placement and size. All this tech stuff. Pretty cool.

But one of the neatest things about this blog is the new friends I’ve made. You know who you are. Thanks for reading.
